Summary
Despite not being a fan of vampire or werewolf stories, The Order managed to capture my attention with its good tension, comedic moments, and excellent music score. However, the series had its merits and flaws. One of the most significant drawbacks was its plot development, which struggled to find a solid footing across two seasons. The pacing felt unsatisfying, especially evident in the underwhelming Season 2 finale, leaving viewers with more questions than answers and a bittersweet experience. The chemistry and relationship dynamics among the characters were also problematic. While the main characters had solid interactions, the recurring ones lacked depth and development at times. Moreover, the series seemed to incorporate a social agenda, which might not have been the best decision. Finding a balance when addressing diverse audiences is crucial, as not everyone shares the same convictions or opinions on certain topics. As for its future, only time will tell if The Order will be picked up by another TV network and renewed for a third season. As of now, I have doubts about its prospects.
