Summary
This show is extremely dull. Despite Alexandra Daddario's remarkable beauty and acting skills, her character lacks any spark of life. Maybe there's a purpose behind this lifelessness, but there's nothing likable about her portrayal. While her intentions may be good, she often acts impulsively and sabotages herself. As a result, I quickly lost interest in the show. I'll give the season a chance to see how it plays out, and if I hear positive feedback, I might reconsider. I'm genuinely disappointed because this show had all the potential to be a hit. With a talented actress, intriguing witches, an awesome location, and a storyline from the mind of Anne Rice, it should have been much more captivating. It also seemed like it would be sexier, so I'm left wondering what went wrong.
