Summary
Murphy has an uncanny Midas touch, consistently turning everything he gets involved in into a resounding success, and this show is no exception. As you probably know by now, it delves into the chilling tale of one of the most infamous serial killers in the history of the United States u2013 Jeffrey Dahmer. His heinous acts involved luring young men to his apartment, where he not only murdered them but also indulged in cannibalism. While this story has been retold many times, what sets this show apart is its unique approach: primarily narrating the events from the victims' perspective, offering a fresh and haunting viewpoint. Evan Peters's portrayal of Jeffrey Dahmer is nothing short of brilliance. His performance is so outstanding that it demands consideration for an Emmy nomination in the coming year. Watching the series for Peters's acting alone is a worthy experience. The character he brings to life is complex, creepy, and unapologetically twisted and evil. The series effectively shines a light on one of the most distressing aspects of Dahmer's crimes u2013 how the police callously ignored and dismissed witness reports, thereby enabling him to remain free and continue his killing spree. In a word, this series is exceptional. I highly recommend starting your binge-watching journey early in the afternoon, as you'll find yourself irresistibly drawn to watch the entire series in one go. The dark and disturbing nature of the story is masterfully conveyed by Ryan Murphy, making it a gripping and unforgettable watch.
