    Summary

This film is an eerie and slow-burning tale culminating in a gory climax of revenge, though it leaves some questions unanswered. The story unfolds at a dinner party hosted by a wealthy and dysfunctional family in their newly built, modern mansion. Among the hired staff is Cadi, a mysterious and quiet girl whose peculiar behavior and voyeuristic tendencies suggest there's more to her than meets the eye. However, her true nature is never completely revealed to the audience, only hinted at. As the plot unravels, we learn that Cadi is connected to a forest or nature spirit, disturbed by the family's destructive mining practices on the other side of the border. The dinner party comprises the couple, their two disappointing adult sons, a business partner, and their family friend/neighbor, who shares the adjoining land. The family's intention is to convince the neighbor to sell her land, which would make her and her farmer husband rich like them.
