Summary
Rules have been broken here where heart pounding horror is laced with an echo of fantasy adventure using a pedestrian lens. Bravo. Its Name Was Mormo is a bold true to form found footage which the genre desperately needs today. Imagine the unimaginable, harbour the beast itself in your mind and home, feel the presence of the entity reach out and tap you on the shoulder. Its Name Was Mormo is a movie that offers best in class psychological terror, it is new, it can make the hairs on your arms stand tall and it rearrange your sequence of breathing. A notable entry worth praising that strikes the right balance between terror, anxiety and pure adrenaline. Overall, it is a very well executed and produced film which in our opinion looks to challenge the found footage leaderboard.
