This psychological horror/thriller leaves a haunting impression, and yet, you wouldn't have it any other way. It belongs to a genre that masterfully builds tension and weaves a compelling narrative to tie everything together. The exceptional performances by the talented actors bring every scene to life. As with any foreign film that achieves even modest success, an American Remake was bound to happen. Given its strong source material, one could hope it wouldn't be too disappointing.
