Summary

The first and second episodes showed promise with their intriguing and eerie elements. However, the show quickly deteriorated due to sloppy and lazy writing. As the story progressed, it relied on the cardinal sin of characters making foolish decisions or failing to communicate effectively, merely to push the plot forward. Despite the group of protagonists being intended as a tight-knit crew of friends reminiscent of the Goonies, they inexplicably found themselves separated in various situations, thanks to poorly planned and nonsensical motivations. This forced them into increasingly improbable and unintelligent scenarios, attempting to generate suspense. Around the halfway point of the series, I began to realize that it would ultimately be a letdown. Unfortunately, the final episodes proved to be even more disorganized than anticipatedu2014truly disappointing. To be fair, the writers did create some well-executed standalone scenes. Nevertheless, the overall narrative and writing fell short due to laziness. As the show concluded, the revelation of Red Rose's true nature turned the story into a cringeworthy farce in the last couple of episodes.
